Nikarchos,als Festgesandten Sosistratos S.d. Kaphisios, und ankündigen dasOpfer, das sie für Asklepios opfern, und die Spiele,die sie alle vier Jahre als musische und athletische (Spiele) veranstalten,und bitten, dass teilnehmen müsse auch unsere Stadt, wobei siedie enge Verbindung und das Wohlwollen bei (beiden) Städten hervorheben, ist eseine gute Sache, die Ankündigung von ihnen anzuerkennen undihnen deutlich zu machen, dass wir uns ständig bewusst sindder mit ihnen bestehenden Verwandtschaft, indem wir sowohl in denalthergebrachten Opfern, die wir von ihnen übernommen haben, als auchin den Festveranstaltungen sie (um Beistand) anrufen wie auchdie anderen Siedler, so möge man beschließen, zu Glück und Heilund zu Wohl und Heil und Eintracht des Volkes derKamarinaier und der Koer: dass man annehme von ihnen dasOpfer, das sie für Asklepios veranstalten, und die Spiele;dass man zum Bankett lade die Festgesandten, diese und auchdie künftig jeweils zu uns kommenden für alle Tage, die sie sichhier aufhalten.
- - -- - - of the Kamarinansto the Koans, - - -are joint founders, as - - -it is decreed, for good fortune and for the harmony and wellbeing of the Kamarinans and Koans:the temple of Asklepios is to be inviolable; to incorporatethe inviolability and the sacrifice and the contests inthe laws. On proposal of the council, the assembly decreed:inasmuch as the Koans were co-founders of our cityand they have the greatest andclosest relations to us, of kinship and intimacy and isopoliteia,and having sent chief theoros Epidaurios son of Nikarchos,theoros Sosistratos son of Kaphisios, they proclaim thesacrifice that they sacrifice to Asklepios and the conteststhat they hold, musical and athletic, every four years,and they ask that our city take part, speaking onthe intimacy and good will of the cities, and inasmuch as it is proper toaccept the proclamation from them andto make clear to them that we hold to the memoryof the kinship we have with them and atthe ancestral sacrifices that we received from them andin the festivals we invite them aswe do the other founders, it is decreed for good fortuneand the health and well being and harmony of the people of theKamarinans and Koans: to accept from them thesacrifice that they perform for Asklepios and the contests;and to invite to hospitality the theoroi, both theseand those who come in future, for all the days thatthey visit.
